Data Analyst - Buyside Firm

Role Overview: The business analyst/performance analyst will support the middle office and risk team in data analysis, business performance analysis for senior management. They will also help analysis raw data and visualize it for senior management team to make meaningful decisions. This is a 1-year rolling contract with attractive package (including 2 - 3 months completion bonus). Applicants must be able to read/speak in English and Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities:

• prepare management report on monthly and quarterly basis
• run business performance analysis on monthly and quarterly basis for senior management
• assist on annual capital planning and forecast through preparation of templates
• prepare semi annual and annual business reviews
• support business operations to ensure completeness of data across business unit
• perform business analysis and analyze key drivers for investment and financial management teams
• support ad hoc projects in relation to process improvement

Key Skills:

• 2 - 5 years of work experience in data analysis, financial analysis or management reporting
• strong communication in English and Mandarin
• proficient in Excel - VBA or Python and PowerPoint
• strong data analysis skills
• good presentation skills
• team player
• ability to work under pressure
