Payroll Analyst (Accounting Background, Up to 30k)

Our client is one of the leading international law firms in Hong Kong. With their expanding business, they are now seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitoring payroll bank account, including ensure sufficient funding for payroll related payments and preparation of bank reconciliation statements
• Preparing tax filing for Hong Kong pension and salaries tax
• Preparing monthly payroll register, including data entry to Payroll System for employees and ensure payroll processing and payments are done accurately on a timely manner
• Assisting in preparation of periodical audit schedules and annual cost budget for Hong Kong office
• Responsible for monitoring the actual spending of employee costs against budget
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Main Requirements:

• Degree holder in accounting or related disciplines
• Experienced with payroll, pension and tax filing within a multinational environment in Hong Kong
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong team player and detailed oriented with the ability to cope with changing business processes
• Ability to work effective in teams and to challenge existing procedures with a view to improve both efficiency and effectiveness
• Proficiency in excel, general office systems and payroll systems such as SAP
