Our client is looking for a strong Java developer to join the algorithmic trading platform team. The role requires to work with quants, Trading desks other developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with global Engineering teams to integrate and deliver successful new features and rollouts front to back.
- Work closely with Quants Traders to completely understand the functional specifications.
- Design and maintain automated testing framework to ensure integrity of new and existing features.
- Communication & coordination with stakeholders for any need on the projects. Manage Audit, Compliance and Control requirements for the team.
- Provide application support and various environment maintenance.
- Ensuring that solutions are well architected, with maintainability and ease of testing built in.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering discipline
- 2+ years of work experience in Java
- Strong and clear communication skills
- Ability to break down complex problems and recognise priorities
- Passionate about technology, self-motivated, good team player
